Improved the Song!

Hi there! Since last week, I've been working on the song as a whole. So far, I'm only concentrating on the lyrics, but I'll start working out the chords after it's all written.

I've written the first verse and the pre-chorus. The first verse is:

Your paper loving broke,

My paper heart.

Your paper words hurt more than,

Your paper darts.

Our paper aeroplane,

Never took flight.

We were left standing,

Side by side.

The pre-chorus is:

We hold our hands,

Like paper dolls.

We sold our clothes,

They bought our souls.

I decided to change the chorus, but I'm still thinking of the second part. So far, it's:

You're just like a paper doll;

Joined at wrist but not at heart.

You're just like a paper doll;

The slightest word can tear you apart.

Next week, I'm going to finish the chorus and try to write another verse. Wish me luck!
